That would pose multiple probs for everyone.

They can't make a law that is in effect retroactively....all of us bought our chips before any new law was in effect. No law was broken. Many of these chips have increased many times their face value. Would they be willing to pay $33,000 for a $5 Chip like the one that just sold? How about $2200 for a Sammy?

So , if I owned something that I paid alot of $$$ for and someone, armed only with a new law, tried to take it, we just might have a prob.

IF...(and I say IF) this IS actually a new NGC policy, they would have to monitor each & every Casino everytime they released a new issue.....and maybe for several days at a time, 24 hrs a day.

If they signaled our certain casinos (like the Hard Rock), they would have every right to yell about unfair business practices that prevented them from selling their chips.

Personally, I doubt if they could (or would) make such a stupid law. It would be an immense expense to them, and what would they really gain?
