Allan,

Here are my responses to your points:

"putting laws that would have toned down the Le program not stopping it would have been better for all concerned.

I didn't see anything that stated the LE programs were being stopped. They just can't put LE or commemorative or a date or a number on the chip. They can still make "special" chips, as long as they distribute them to the table games. What's so wrong about that idea? Make plenty and put them to use on the games!

Just look at the Four Queens announcement. Is destroying these collectibles & not issuing any more good for the hobby?

The Four Queens announcement is a knee-jerk reaction. Typical casino management. Why don't they just dump all their old LE's into their general chip population? That would be great for the hobby!

On another point,What do you think the attendance will be on the 2005 convention. I would think there will be a dramatic drop in attendance.

I think the conventions will continue to grow in attendance.

It is sad to think that there will no longer be 4th of July chips issued in Nevada.

This doesn't have to happen, but it probably will. I've always stated major holidays, headliners, and anniversaries are great chips to have. I would like to see those continue as well.
