Being just an average collector and far removed from the "action" at LV I have read with concern the many posts associated with the latest news coming out of the GCB. It seems there is far more speculation than fact or eventual ramifications.
Could it be that some of the club members are part of the problem? By this, I mean it seems that as the club has grown, the number of wannabee NIS dealers has grown much faster. When a new LE is issued instead of 25 people waiting in line there are 100. How long before the GCB would step in and take action? Now, before those of you that are a NIS take this as an attack, don't. I am not finding fault with anyone, if I lived in LV I would do the same. All I am presenting is food for thought. When to many people are trying to mine the same vain of gold, it is soon depleted and all are out of business.
Who really knows the motives of the GCB? I'm simply posing that we may have had a partial hand in creating our own problem? As most of you reading this post know I have many times defended the free enterprise system and applaud anyone with the initative to scratch the entrepreneurial itch. I am just thinking we might have had a hand in killing the goose that laid the golden egg. Has this crossed anyone else's mind??
