"Chips may only be used for gaming purposes"
This is a true story:
One night I noticed a "lady of the evening", along with her "business manager", trying to cash out over 15 $100 Bugsy's Hideaway chips at a Strip casino cage. The cage would not accept them and the pair tried to exchange them for cash at the bar. Again, they were denied and they tried to cash them in at another bar. When they were denied again, they seperated and walked through every slot aisle of the casino while on their cell phones to each other. They finally departed the casino.
My guess is that her "customer" paid her well for her "services", or at least that's what she thought until she got to the cage. They were searching the casino looking for the guy. It's probably a good thing they didn't find him because her "manager" looked like he was ready to do some damage.
She probably didn't realize she was going to get screwed twice that night!
So, all you guys who were bringing a handful of Bugsy's Hideaway chips to convention are out of luck!!! You wouldn't want to break the rules!
