Only tokens and strikes are produced in a way where alignment can be controlled. Chipco & BG chips tend to align, but not always. I don't know about BG chips, but I've noticed the orientation of the text on the edge of Chipco chips is not consistent either. This is all just what I have noticed in my few years of collecting.
