I read the earlier posts today about not being able to buy chips from the cage in Nevada casinos. So I e-mailed someone I deal with at a well known casino in LV and here's the response:

Hi Lance,
Where did you hear that from? I work out of the Employee Cage and my Supervisor has me handle this types of transaction of far as mailing out requests. But I haven't heard anything about not being able to do this any longer.
