If I read the new rules regarding LE's correctly, players are required to cash in all chips before leaving the casino. I know this is an insane idea of enforcing it, but what position will the CCGTCC take on this issue? Is our hobby actually going to promote the breaking of this rule, or will it condemn it?
I've heard the argument for years about the ethical dilemma of "harvesting" roulettes and tournament chips. Since these chips are not supposed to leave the casinos, each time someone takes them, they are breaking the rules. The CCGTCC has not endorsed the act of harvest, yet I have not seen them condemn it either.
My question is: Will the CCGTCC (1) ban the sales of current chips; (2) promote the breaking of the stupid rule; or (3) ignore the entire issue?
I bet I can guess which one.
