I don't have any information on destruction of the chips or even if any were destroyed.

I suspect a lot of them walked as souviniers.
This type of chip was unusual in 1991.

Chip was different in the rack as Caesars rack chips were PS chips. Customers attention would have been drawn to them.

I think we will never know the answers but I seriously doubt 50,000 chips walked.
