They were stored for many years in a non-climate-controlled warehouse in Nevada, Don. As a result, those at the bottom of the stacks developed a flat spot on one side, and some even stuck together. Nothing like those from the MGM or El Rancho Vegas chips though; those were generally melted into a solid mass, or even charred in some instances.

To my knowledge, there was never a serious fire at Harolds Club.
