That's one of the considerations that cause me to question the production on this chip, Ed. The value of 50,000 $25 chips is one and a quarter million dollars! Do you think that if this were the case, Caesars would not have tried it again with another commemorative? They have issued numerous green commems since, but no big quantities. Many of the later chips can still be found in play, in fact.
The issue quantity on the 25th anniv. has to be more like the quantities on other commemorative chips. I continue to believe there was a miscommunication with the Chipco representative on this. $50,000 in green chips sounds about right to me. That would be 2000 chips or 20 boxes. That quantity could have well disappeared over the 10-15 year period we are talking about here.
