Which auction site you prefer is, of course, a personal decision based upon what you sell, why you sell and whom you're trying to reach.

For me it's not the money. Like lots of others, I suspect, I was so excited when I first start chipping that I bought all kinds of chips from everywhere before I found out that the list and the possibilities were virtually endless. That is what an article in TCN called the "accumulation phase."

Now I've start collecting and focusing so I have lots of chips that I picked up during the accumulation phase which I need to sell. But since it's not about the money I've decided to focus on attracting collectors.

My experience with Jackpot is pretty simple. I let everyone on the board know when I have a listing and that has resulted in a higher percentage of listings that sell than what I used to get at eBay. Prices are probably lower but not worth the difference.

In the final analysis, it's sorta like Yogi said about a restaurant in New York--"it's so busy nobody goes there anymore." Jackpot critics are like that--I don't go there because nobody goes there.

List, shop, try it, not just for a day or a week but from now till the convention and see what happens. That's what I'm doing--
