I recently purchased a 16th issue Sands $1.00 turquoise chip, in very good shape. Upon examining it more closely, I discovered that the obverse side is different than the other.
At the bottom of the HS, the "Las Vegas, Nevada" phrase, the last "A" in Nevada is not fully formed, making it smaller than the rest of the letters. Is this a misprint or error, or are all of these chips the same? Does anyone have one of these chips they can compare it to?
