Just traded for these for what equals over $10 a chip. That's for TCR "A" chips.
I don't think I've had such nice, perfect alignment chips before. The HS always lines up with the same place on every chips and is coin aligned.
If someone made these, the worker took lots of time to line up each one precisly the same. I don't buy the two sided Kingsley machine theory, but there's no reason why they aren't Mfgs. samples either and not forgeries.
Maybe some day we'll find the answers. Until they are Borland Fakes or Dealer Samples.
I can agree with the idea that it wouldn't make sense to forge "cheap chips" since back when they were made, these wouldn't have sold for more than a couple of bucks anyway. Might as well make something expensive and spend all the time and effort.
But the reason for the message, besides being the proud new owner, is to mention that I collect these and if you have extras laying around, I know a sucker who's buying them. (points finger at self)
