Does any know why the convention room rate is higher than the published rates on the Rivera's web site ( http://www.RiveraHotel.com )???

I would have thought our club could have negotiated a cheaper rate than the what was offered to the general public. What am I missing?

I too saved $80 by booking though Vegas.com. I'm all for helping out the club whenever I can and would have preferred to not have booked it this way. It's not worth $80 to me just to be included in a head count for the convention.
