For the last week or so a Radio Station has been running an advertisement. In it They are very specific. "When the sun crosses the equator IN THE NORTHERN HEMISPHERE it is the vernal equinox and spring has arrived.

So if you live in the southern hemisphere is it the autumnal equinox?
