My wife finally decided to believe our tax accountant who says you only need to keep your income tax returns for ten years. She started going through the 35 years worth starting in 1969. It is interesting to see what you made back then and what you bought your car for at that time.

When she hit 1973 we found a big bag of Penn National and Mountian View Racetrack pari-mutuel tickets that we collected to offset our large, "Big Triple" tax hit that year and only year!

I'm always amazed at the things that are collected. I even found a web site for collectors of the pull tabs that are big at the American Legions here in PA and are legal in bars in other states.
