At least it's new to me even though they have been out for a while.
As one can see by the scan, there are two different $5.00 chips.
Here is the story. Although the casino is only about an hour and a half away from me, I have never been there as I believe the only poker tournaments they have take place on a Friday evenings ( I do not play any casino backed games) and I don't like to be away from home that late. so I asked a friend of a friend of mine to pick me up some chips which he so graciously did. As it turn out, the cage would not sell any of the $2.50 chips (used only on the blackjack tables) so he had to obtain them from others. And to my surprise I found one of those ($5.00) 2003 Comedy Series chips along with the other $5.00 chips he got for me.
In any case, although I don't have any more of the Comedy series chips, I do have some of the others for sale.
Now here's the glitch. I have 14 $1.00 chips, 7 $2.50 chips and 3 regular $5.00 house chip left.
These are going to be offered to those on the chips@face list first for the usual price of face value plus $0.49¢ postage for a single denomination chip and $0.60¢ for up to 3 chips.
If I have any left over, (which I doubt) then those others on the board can have them if they wish for the following prices.
$1.00 chip is $3.00
$2.50 chip is $5.00
$5.00 chip is $7.00
Plus $1.00 postage and handling
The real reason for my posting this offer on the board is because I cannot show a scan of the chips other then this way and for some reason an attachment will not work via regular e-mail methods.
For those on the chips@face list please be forewarned that I will be on the road Friday and may not get time to send everyone their chips but will do so when I return (in about a week.)
