The following PUBLIC NOTICE appeared in the Las Vegas Review-Journal:
Pursuant to Regulation 12.070(2)(c) of the Nevada State Gaming Control Board, effective March 2, 2004, the following chips used at Harrah's-Las Vegas, located in Las Vegas, Nevada, have been discontinued:
$1 blue gaming chips - white circular center w/pink, yellow and blue inserts on both sides of chip.
$5 red gaming chips - white scalloped center w/blue inserts on both sides of chip.
$20 green gaming chips - Harrah's globe center and two Jesters on either side of chip w/yellow and red inserts.
$100 black gaming chips - white scalloped center w/pink, purple and green inserts on both sides of chip.
$100 black gaming chips - Riverboat center w/pink, purple and green inserts on both sides of chip.
$500 white gaming chips - white circular center w/pink, blue and teal inserts on both sides of chip.
$500 white gaming chips - Riverboat center w/pink, purple and green inserts on both sides of chip.
The discontinued chips may be redeemed 24 hours a day through June 29, 2004 at the casino cage located at:
