Well, according to my calculations, I was the owner of the Dunes Sultan chip, SU condition, listed in the auction below for exactly 5 minutes and 44 seconds:

Of course, never having paid more that about $30 for a single chip (and not many of those in my collection), I was first very scared that I was going to win the auction, and then very disappointed when I got sniped at the last minute, and didn't win .
Of course, this is no $5 Sands Arodie, but would have been my first tentative forray on to the 'big boys playground'. Anyway, my heart is still beating, and yet I don't have to go digging through my couch cushions tonight, and playing harmonica in front of the local strip mall to come up with the dough . Better still, I now have 'saved' that much money, that I can use to further enhance my collection!!
Ah, the wonders of justification. Congrats to buyer and seller!
