Kerry....
Valley View suddenly removed both their craps table AND their "Volcanic Bingo" Roulette table.
The SAME weekend, the same roulette table turned up at Harrah's Rincon around the corner..still called "Volcanic Bingo", but using Harrah's "A" Chips.
David Moore took five of the Valley View Chips (orange) and I took 20 of the Purple...these are the ONLY chips that we know of....they are the "Holy Grail" of the CA Roulettes.
I talked with the Pit Boss and she told me that the chips were "in the safe", and the table "might come back", but also said they were in the process of remodeling in anticipation of the new compacts with Governor Arnie, which would give them "Vegas-Style" Gaming....no need for the "modified" roulette game.
Valley View was REALLY tough..I was the only one on the table for well over an hour..the Pit Boss glared at me almost constantly, and three people that I assume had something to do with the Casino sat behind me and "watched". Funny thing is, I kept hitting my numbers, walked with over $700 and the 20 chips...
Last Time I was at Harrah's Rincon, they told me they had a "new poilcy" of not allowing a person to ask for a specific color. I have four colors from there, and certainly won't be stopped that easily LOL
Casino Pauma is operating only their Table "C" in the corner of their tiny casino.....I was there when it was crowded on the table and they still apparently don't have enough employees that know how to deal roulette. They lost so many chips from "A" and "B", that I would be suprised to see either table open again.......NOBODY that I know of has a set of any table.
They are the "inventer" of the "Card Roulette" and the ones that successfully challanged it (and won) in the Supreme Court.
We still have a chance to complte Table "C", but they are currently building their new Hotel/casino with Caesar's, and I'm sure they will change their rack at that time.
