but a few years ago I learned that some people who type in CAPS are doing it because they have problems with their vision . They can see the CAPS better.

Learning that made me more tolerant of seeing things in Caps....I just try to remember to respond in all caps! (If they can't see, it'll make it easier.....if they're hollerin' at me, I wanna' holler back! )
