I wonder if the seller privately cut a deal to avoid eBay's final value fees???

This particular chip had been bid up to just above $12,000 before the seller ended the auction. Ebay's cut at that bid level would be almost $200 and my guess is that that chip would have gone higher.

Don't you think that ending an auction that had been bid up that high would raise some red flags at ebay???
