research this piece of garbage. When we list 22,756 different chips in TCR, a few bits of doody are going to squeeze in. Gene was right in that two of us entered a "GG" chip, one into the Golden Gulch (which was inside the Golden Bank Club) and one to the Golden Gate. At least both entries carry an "Attributed to..." disclaimer.
The Golden Gulch "GG" was first listed from Dean Richmond's 1998 "Casino Collectibles" auction #W-8C. John Zoesch may be happy to learn that his yellow "GG" has also been attributed to this joint by Howdy Herz and was due to be included in TCR-10. You guys have embarrassed us so much that we will probably scrap all of the paltry "GG's" before TCR-10 is printed.
The Golden Gate "GG" was entered from an auction that one of my illustrous partners presided over for a fellow collector. I feel certain that neither Ernie, Michael nor I, have one of these miserable "GG's." If we had, the "GG" would not have been labeled, "Attributed to..."
