I do have other New China Club designs, but was interested in seeing how many in this Keno 2 design I could identify. It appears Barry has found still another series. For a small club, this place sure had a lot of match designs! Must have been a good match salesman calling on them.
eBay had over 200 really good older casino covers on last week. The guy says he is breaking up a large collection so we may see more in the next weeks. Lots of the good ones sold for over $20, with a couple in the $40-50 range.
I believe casino matches are beginning to be appreciated as the little pieces of history they are. I like them even more than chips in some respects as they usually have more info about the club. We are also finding lots of them from Nevada in the 1930's, something that's hard to do with Nevada chips because they tended to not have very distinctive designs (or used generics).
