The mound of dirt, which appears to the left of that building, is half the size it used to be. It is man-made and is a gravel mound used to make concrete for the 215 Beltway. The more they build, the smaller the mound gets. Eventually it will go away, as it stands at about the point where W. Tropicana will be bridged over the Beltway.

To the left is a Lowes, Super WalMart complex, with Office Depot, Sports Authority, PetsMart and a slew of other smaller stores. For those that live back East, they are putting in a Carvel (soft-serve ice cream shop), just in time for summer!
