Well, I was told you're not supposed to clean them--this from a coin dealer--but I disagree. What you have to be careful of is the rim vs. the center of the strike. Like if you use Brasso or some other tarnish remover, try NOT to get it on the silver part. And likewise, maybe keep the silver polish off the rim? I have used q-tips to do this. Maybe someone else has better suggestions??
