You really need a database program if you are going to grow your information. If you are interested in only keeping track of your chips, its fine to use a spreadsheet. My database has grown to include info on chips with relationships to the casinos and all its info, as well as scans of the chips, manufacturing records and dozens of informational crosslistings. I am about three filing cabinets behind on getting in info into the system, but hopefully someday I'll be there.
