The Merry Go Round was at 26 West Second Street in Reno. They were licensed from March 1946 until early August 1956 when the license was revoked due to an improper operation of a 21 game. They had been licensed for slots, craps, 21, and roulette. They never reopened.
The bar was an unique set up where the bar stools were set up on a mechanism that when activated would cause them to rotate around the center part of the bar.
I have no info on how fast this rotation took, or if it could be speeded up. Sounds like fun to me.
