Ow wow - I agree with someone here - red letter day. Johnny boy said he wouldn't leave positive feedback for me unless I left his first. You say feedback beging - I call it "ransom" because they are withholding something to which I am entitled.
They all get negatives - and of course they give me one in retaliation. John was paid promptly, had no problems, but insisted on getting feedback first, ergo his negative.
If someone forgets - and that happens - I ask if there was any problem with the transaction I was unaware of. Usually I get a decent response. Sometimes they tell me they leave feedback after I do. I consider that ransom and leave appropriate feedback.
I hope you are clear on what I call "feedback ransom" because that's what I really believe it to be.
