The style of the partially frosted glass and the paint style seems to be the 50's, or later. I haven't seen shading and muted colors on 40's glasses. Look on the bottom to see if there is an embossed logo, a cursive "L" for Libbey Glass Co. or an "F" within a shield for Federal Glass Co.
