Excellent post and subsequent link to Grading Guidelines. Everyone should check the link out and either download it or print it out. I am amazed how many of us, fellow chippers, have no idea how to grade a chip. I have had recent chip trades where chippers had no idea was cross-hatching was. I too don't need to collect only NEW (N) or SLIGHTLY USED (SU) chips. Some chips are only found in AVERAGE condition. I just wish we all take the time to understand and use the Grading Guidelines when trading or selling chips.
