I just received the new rack $1 O'Shea's chip (pictured on the right) from Andy Hughes this afternoon (thanks Andy)... the one on the left I picked up at O'Shea's a few years ago.
To my eyes, there are some very subtle differences between the two chips... mint green on the left, darker green on the right... thin "Las Vegas, NV" on the left, thicker "Las Vegas, NV" on the right... smaller "$" on the left, larger "$" on the right.
My question: do these minute differences add up to two varieties of O'Shea's $1 house chip? Are they optical illusions? Or are they simply attributable to age and wear?
Thanks in advance for your opinions.
