LCCOTD= Large Crown Chip Of The Day. This beauty is from The Riverside Hotel and Casino, Reno, NV. This place has been a Reno Landmark since 1927 and is still standing. Right now the building is being used as Artists lofts and Gallery. Sure beats having it blown up (Remember the Mapes Hotel and Casino and the Pioneer) and turned into another vacent lot. In my opinion the Hot Stamp on this chip is one of the finer graphics done in Hot Stamp form.
Scan is courtesy of Howard & Kregg Herz from one of their "OLD" auction catalogues. The color of the chip is a really nice yellow and the three inserts are brown. Makes for an outstanding looking chip.
