Hi, this old flatiron building, originally the Realty Syndicate Bank Bldg, put up in 1905, was demolished in 2002. Of the original 30 or so Emeryville card rooms, only the Oaks Club is still open; the only other building which hasn't been torn down during "demolition derby" is the Bank club, which has been preserved for its historic value. It was originally a Bank of Italy building (later=Bank of America) then was closed and traded to Nick Nickatarios in about 1960. The top floor was leased to recent immigrants from Vietnam (probably Chinese from Vietnam) for about 2 years who ran the Bank club cardroom. their chips also ae in English and chinese.
