Yes, that is probably a good bet on what happened. I just looked at that sellers other auctions and he does have 3 other of this same chip for sale. He has them for $9.99, and one even has a bid by the winner of the $46.00 chip. So he gets one GN 50th Ann. for $46.00 and one for $9.99!

But your right, I'm sure the other bidder just got a second chance or bid on one of his other auctions of the same chip.

As for the multiple chip scans as a sales tool. Your also correct, even I don't like those ebay sales with that type of auction. But, you have to sometimes measure sales with time spent. And I frankly don't have the time to do individual scans and uploading etc.. Heck, that would leave me no time left to complain about my poor sales here on the board! :-)
