Hello everyone,

Just found your message board from a post someone made on RGP. Very interesting stuff. I honestly didn't know there was such a network of chip collectors.

I would like to get started with a little chip collection of my own, but wanted to ask you all how you got started? Did you start with buying chips that are currently in use at casinos? I think that might be the cheapest way for me to get started. Just a few chips from casinos I frequent. Do you usually just buy them at the casino cashier? How do you get the cleanest, best condition chips? Will they sometimes sell you chips that haven't been used yet at the tables?

Sorry for all the boring new-guy questions!
