José Miguel Gomez was president of Cuba from 1909 to 1913. These pieces are from his private set.

These Mother-of-Pearl pieces surfaced in Miami in
1995, at which time one 12-piece set went to Puerto Rico to be broken up and sold... and I placed two complete sets (see page 34; Antique Gambling Chips).

Now, 13 pieces are being offered by the owner (red, blue, yellow, natural):

1) Missing from the 12-piece set is the round yellow.

2) Two extra pieces; one each of the large rectangle yellow and large rectangle red are included in the lot.

Pieces are extremely thick; approx. 5mm
