Jim; There is a 3rd variation to this $1 Harrah's A.C. chip. The letters "i" are called "mini-i's"..., the tops of which are much lower than the rest of the letters. Will post a scan of this variation for you later.

Technically, I don't think that the two Harrah's examples you have shown are not generally termed a "variety or variation"; but are two distinct different $1 chip issues that were used at different times at the casino.

BTW: I think your chips (with writeups) would make a very interesting display at the club's June convention if you are planning to attend.
