At one time, I collected virtually everything in the world. With the increased number of gaming juristictions and the sheer numbers of chips being issued by certain properties, folks have to lower their sights and specialize more of what to collect.

Limit collecting interests to just a few areas, and stick to it. You'll find that your collection will be more impressive and complete, than using the scattergun approach by trying to collect everything.

There are collectors who only collect Harrah's for example... or Hard Rock. There are collectors who only collect $2.50 chips. There are collectors who specialize in Crest & Seal chips or illegals... or Elks Lodge chips. I know one lady in Florida who collects chips with horses on them. It is the COLLECTOR who decides what chips will be added to his/her collection .... not the casinos that are putting out a hundred or more chips per year.
