I feel sorry for those that are paying $200 for this chip only to find out in a few months that the cage manager (or other employee) has somehow been hoarding them. Then they'll slowly be released fetching $200 a pop until someone realizes it and then be nearly worthless.

Didn't the same thing happen with the previous Chinese New Year issues from Mandalay Bay? I paid a pretty penny for year of the Snake and Horse chips that were supposed to be somewhat rare and hard to get (limited to 600 sets?). Then I saw the same seller unloading those things every week for months.

Now when I see them on eBay they fetch about 1/4 of what I paid for mine. I'll actually be listing a few of these next week on eBay.
