I got this matchbook and thought it wasn't from the Tavern that was at 1801 West 4th Street from 12/32 to 5/41.

Also, the Tavern is definitely the same Tavern that is listed in Rise of the BLCity. Note the slogan on the matches: Reno's Smartest Night Club. That is the same slogan I quote in the Tavern article. You questioned the address: Not to worry--The Truckee Highway later became known as Highway Forty and Fourth St. is synonomous with Highway Forty. So the address on the match book is exactly the same as the address I have listed. Just different way of saying the same thing, and a way of giving a definite location. (Where Second St. meets the Truckee Highway). Your matches are definitely from the historic Tavern at 1901 West Fourth St.
