Al, the answer to your first question must be answered in time rather than distance (rush hour vs. non rush hour.) Non rush hours in LA are between 1:00 AM and 5:AM. Figure about ½ to ¾ hour ±.

The second part of your question is more difficult to answer. I was always told not to generalize but end up doing so anyway.

You will find in Southern California, different ethnic group tend to be "looser" than others. In this particular case, the size of the game matters little, be it $2.00-$4.00 game, a $20.00-$40.00 game or so I'm told, a $200-$400 game. Also age and retirement status has a lot to do with "lossness." If you want action, stay away from us old geezers as we tend to be very tight (again a generalization.)
