Perhaps these questions are for Gene?
I have read more than once where a casino has submitted a chip design or actual chip for approval and it has been turned down by gaming.
Since this seems to happen far to frequently, I would imagine gaming would have certain guidelines that must be followed. Why the reoccuring problems over and over?
Does gaming just turn down a chip design or do they give you a reason or a solution to fix it?
Does the approval process take so long that it doesn't allow sufficient time to re submit the designs prior to release dates, Or is it the Casino's don't allow themselves enough time when they start the design process?
It seems to me when Gene had the post regarding the Playboy chips it showed a step by step process that took quite a bit of time. You would think that would give some indication as to how it is done when done properly.
Also while we are at it, I have noted that chips are sometimes turned down because they don't pass camera coverage. I would think that the manufacturer could simulate this process at their plant to avoid this problem.
