I picked up this beautiful serving tray from the Grand Opening of the Sahara Reno last week. I was wondering if the photo was actually taken at the time of the Grand Opening or not. The show on the billboard is Hello Dolly with Carol Channing and Eddie Bracken - anyone know if that was the opening act at the Sahara in April 1979? The tray is about 15"X10" - it looks like there is a photo under a slot glass style piece of glass. Sure is a pretty piece.
