Chips were made for the grand opening of the LV Hilton poker room in 1987. If I remember right it was the largest poker room in LV at the time. Tom Bowling was the poker room manager. He went on to run Hollywood Park and now owns a piece of Club Carib.
I have 1 set of 3 for $61 including postage. I also have 2 extra $1,000 and one extra $500 for $25 each. The chips are in TCR at considerably higher prices.
They came from a poker dealer that opened the Hilton poker room.
