As far as the new owner of the Dodgers goes, I'm hoping that this is a change back to the "family-owned" concept, as it was when the O'Malleys owned them. I miss those days.
I think the worst thing that ever happened to the Dodgers was Al Campanis' unfortunate comments that blacks didn't have what it took to manage a major league team (my paraphrase). His having to resign was the loss of the most savvy player personnel director in baseball.
As I said in 2002, just wait until next season.
