The chips have never been scarce.
I had a couple boxes of them in 1995.
The Cajun Cup was held 1983-87
1983 at the Holiday Inn in Opelousas.
1984-85 at the Holiday Inn in Lafayette.
1986-87 at the Hilton In Lafayette.
The LA State Police raided it in the middle of the 87 tournament.
The operators was Eldon Elias and Kenny Pyle. Many of the LV tournament crew went to LA to work the tournaments.
I don't know why anyone would ever class them as CA chips.
