A guy was speeding down the highway, when he saw a State Trooper's lights in his rearview mirror.

He pulls over.

The State Trooper says "Sir, my shift is almost over, and I'm in a good mood. If you can give me a good excuse as to why you were speeding, I'll let you go."

The man thinks for a moment then says "Two weeks ago my wife ran off with a State Trooper, I thought you were bringing her back!"
