You can't have it both ways. Lee Marvin and many others became actors after their WWII service. arguing over when is pointless. The thing to remember is they were all heroes regardless of wheather they were actors before during or after the war. My original point was simply that Presidental Unit Citations are not personal awards. PUC's are awarded to units of the military not individuals. Unlike personal awards, PUC's do not have a medal awarded to the individual. In full dress uniform, personal decorations (medals) are worn on the left and unit citations are worn on the right. I applaude Sabu's service to our country and his Medal of Honor, but the PUC's still do not count. Again, when they became actors in relation to the war is meaningless. The only thing to remember is their bravery and sacrifice.
