"I don't find it all that intersting that actors in the 40s were proud to fight for their country. At that time therre was somethign worth fighting for other than lining the pocket of the President and Vice President's oil buddies and searching for non-existent weapons. It's not that the actors of that generation were more patriotic, it's that the cause was more worthwhile."

How can the deaths of more people than were killed in the attack on Pearl Harbor during the terrorist attacks on 9/11/01 be deemed a less worthwhile cause?!?

Too many of the actors of this generation are almost completely lacking patriotism. They are placing a personal hatred of the current administration above the safety of the citizens of this country. It is certainly their right to do so, but thank God they aren't in charge!
